Waterloo?
Is Congressman John Murtha's defection to the antiwar camp the beginning of the end in Iraq?
And if yes, how will Israel deal with a now confirmed reality that the West can always be worn down?

sometimes i wonder if i have missed something along the way. how much difference is there exactly between all the senators and represenatives of congress on the political wheel of fortune. last time i checked the us political scene is still conforms to a republican form of democracy. the battle of waterloo was fought by an absolute autocrat i think his name was emperor napoleon. but why confuse the issue with facts as long as we can dibble and dabble in meaningless political conjecture that has no bearing any thing with true significance. its about as meaningful as defining the modern developement of chasidus in a political analysis couched in media lingo that trivializes the matter to a point of absurdity. Leave the absurd to the existentialist maybe jean paul sarte describe it best in his short story Nausea which brings us periouslessly close to your original French Connection. Regards to Wellington.
An immediate coalition withdrawal from Iraq? Have they seriously asked themselves how humane the consequences of that would be? The news of a pullout would put a wolfish grin on the faces of the "al-Qaida in Mesopotamia" brigade, as Mr. Zarqawi's force has named itself in order to resolve all doubt. Every effort would be made to detonate every available car-bomb and mine, so as to claim the withdrawal of coalition forces as a military victory for jihad.
