Oy, it's Almost Pesach !!!!

This posting is about a month late. Yes, it's that time of year. No communication, no nerves, no humor, no time, no sleep. No menschlichkeit. No marital harmony due to the pressure. Kids see it all.

Yes, it's almost Pesach !!!

Now we all know the seriousness of Pesach and having even a mashahu of chometz, and the severe spiritual repercussions of disregarding this.

However, make a simple calculation: If a couple is married (only) 30 years, and Pesach takes (only) one month out of their year, then 2 1/2 years of the their marriage are spent in a state of 'no communication, no sleep, no harmony . . . etc'

Is this what the eibishter wants of us?

More people should actually go to a pesach shiur and realise that most of what they do is plain ridiculous.
